 Magnifique French Lessons 2020

Bonjour,Teaching term
A friendly reminder that classes run as per the Victorian school term.
Term 2: 14th of April – 27th of June. Unfortunately, there will be no French cultural immersion trip this year.

Term 3: 13th of July – 18th of September

Beret party
Just because classes are online, it doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun!
From the 20th – 25th of April, you have to wear your ‘favourite’ beret to class.
If you don’t have one, you can wear your favourite hat or beanie.

Online classes
Wow what an incredible time we are facing right now.
Thank you for taking part in the online Zoom lessons.
Moving forward, lessons will be online until the circumstances with Covid-19 change. Your lesson has been permanently scheduled. This means that each week you can use the same Zoom link to access your class at your normal class time.
I highly recommend that you save the link to your favourites.
I have put together a few tips, as well as some links below, so that you can maximise your Zoom experience.
If you found the program difficult to use, please don’t hesitate to email me, and we can organise a time to privately trial it. I will walk you through it step by step. Class worksheets will be sent to you in advance. If there is no class directly before yours, you can log on early and chat to other class members (in French of course) before the class is scheduled to commence. If there is no class after yours, you can stay online and chat.

Zoom tips and useful links
Zoom may be new to some of you, so I put together a short video with a few tips to help maximise your experience. Click here to see the video.
There are also other wonderful tips I have complied which can be accessed here.
Missed classes
As classes are now online, catch up classes operate differently to beforehand.
If you miss a class, you can do a catch up class by emailing me 24 hours (minimum) before your class, requesting a link to a class that suits you. Note -the only way to join classes is by having the class link.
